Artistic Data Visualization Workshop - XMediaArtMuseum 2024
We met with the students of VCD faculty of Bilgi University and Yıldız Technical University in the context of Eylul Duranağaç Alıcı's lecture where I was a tutor on artistic data visualization techniques in TouchDesigner. We talked about and went through the concept of 'Big data', the methodologies and strategies of analysis and visualization of it. In this context we deploy t-SNE algorithm which is a machine learning dimensionality reduction algorithm which is mainly used for finding 3d structure and hidden clusters in a high dimesional universe dataset. Then we created a pipeline in TouchDesigner from scratch to visualize the insights we got from the data and the algorithm.
AI Product Design Contest Jury and Interview - ENTA 2024
I was invited to be one of the jury of a AI product design contest for design students by ENTA Assosiation where we selected the best porject based on AI usage, conceptual consistency and design approach. ENTA also organized a meetup to declare the winning projects where I and other jury members were invited to make an iterview on 'The Future of AI in the Design Perspective'.
Presentation on Immersive Art - MEF University 2024
I was invited to make a presentation in the FADA 416, MEF University, class to the architecture students named 'Immersive Art: Distorting the Space' where we discussed the history and the ontology of immersive art in the context of architecture and art history; we focused on current technologies and the applications of immersive art; then we investigated the possible applications and opportunities of immersive art and technology in architecture, questioned the ontology of space in architectural context by focusing on the conseptual boundries of sapce.
